Myakka Experience “A beast of a ride”
This family ride takes place in our specially adapted 6 wheel Deuce-and-a-Half Army truck. It can seat up to 20 guests on top for a bird’s eye view of the 230 acres of property. You can expect to see the crystal blue lakes, treetops, maybe the Myakka Man himself and the chance to spot some local wildlife.
The Myakka truck has the ability to drive over all types of terrain and although not designed for speed,it can handle the tracks and trails we have with little effort but our terrain is not flat and can be very bumpy at times so it is unsuitable for those with neck or back problems or for pregnant women. You must be able to sit upright unaided.
As you travel around the trails, our guides will point out areas of interest, local animals if they are around, and of course the “Myakka Man’s” favorite hideouts. Keep a careful watch for his bright red eyes shining from the woods his footprints and his lair.
The Myakka is fun for the whole family, and a unique extra for birthday party treats suitable for all age groups. Speak to our party planner for what more we can add to this fun ride.
