  10. When is the best time to fish?

In Forida we are blessed with great weather, and bass can be caught all year round. In summer it is good to get an early start to the day, but you guide will have a good idea about what the bass is doing on the particular weather pattern. Cold front will alway hurt the fishing, but never make it impossible to catch some nice ones

  11. What time of day should we start?

90% of the time, the answer would be “as early as possible”, because the bass like to hunt just after sunrise. Often the bite will turn of a little during the middle of the day, and then return in the afternoon. If you  prefer  the afternoon trip,  we suggest that you time your booking to end at sunset.

  12. Will you guarantee that we will catch fish?

It is not often that we don’t catch any fish, but it does happen. Any guide who will tell you otherwise is stretching the truth. NO angler has not tried to come back with an empty live well after a day on the lake. In the latest World Bass Fishing Championship featuring the worlds top 50 bass anglers, 6 anglers did not put a fish on the scoreboard on the first day. Some days are just tough, but every day is enjoyable, and at Revolution Bass Fishing we have fun in the sun every day of the year. A bad day at the lake, is often better than a good day at the office.

  13. Does the guide also fish?

You can be sure that our guides are not in competition with our customers. First and foremost we are there to help you catch fish, and help the anglers that need it. The guide will often fish to better locate the fish and establish a pattern. Our guides are focused on you and making sure you will have a great day on the water. Especially when kids are onboard, the guide will pay a lot of attention to them and make sure they have a memorable day.

  14. What if the weather is bad - can I cancel my trip?

Bad weather in Florida is normally not a problem, but safety is the most important thing at Revolution. If the weather forecast for the time of you trip is severe weather, we will try to reschedule your trip. You will not be able to cancel a trip because of rain or cold weather. The lake at Revolution is one of the safest lakes in central Florida because, If severe weather approaches the area we can be off the lake in less than 10 minutes

  15. What should i bring for a bass fishing trip?

Most important; Sunscreen and a hat. The Florida sun can be rough on your skin even in winter, so we highly recommend sun protection. Also, you should bring a camera. If you don’t have a camera, the guide will use his and shoot some pictures we can email you afterwards without any extra cost. If there is a chance of rain, you might consider rain gear, or at least bring some extra clothes you can change into after the trip. It is better to bring it and not use it, than not bring it and need it. If you bring it, it will not rain. :-)
If you book a full day trip, you might wanna bring a sandwich or a snack.

  16. What is provided by Revolution Bass Fishing?

We will bring drinks. Ice water and a selection of soft drinks. If you have a favorite drink, you can bring it, and there will be room in the cooler. We will also provide rods and reels. 17. Is gratuity included in the price?

Gratuity is not included in the price, but nor is it expected. Gratuity is something the guide will work hard for. If you don’t feel that you have been given the best service and effort by you guide, please do not pay any tips. However, if you like to show your gratuity towards you guide, the standard tip is usually 20% or higher. This amount is entirely up to you and your group, and don’t feel obligated in any way.

  18. Can I bring my own rod and reel?

If you have a lucky rod, feel free to bring it. Our guide will have plenty of new high quality fishing gear on the boat, but there is nothing like your own favorite rod or lures.

  19. What equipment do you use?

Our guides are using their own boats for the trip. They are all tournament equipped bass boats. They are for instance 20 ft. Ranger, 20 ft. Triton and 21 ft. Storm boats. They are all installed with top range electronics and late model rods and reels. Normally we offer clients spinning rods and reels, but if you prefer a baitcaster setup, just let your guide know, and we will provide you one.
