Frequently Asked Questions
- How old do I need to be to drive a Buggy?
You must be 16 years of age or older with a full driving license to drive with us. If under, 18 years of age a parent or guardian must accompany you to sign the required waiver release forms.
- If I am unable to bring my parents with me can they sign online?
No sorry, they can sign a waiver release form in advance, or have a form notarized for each individual under 18
- Can my 16 year old drive with a provisional licence?
No sorry each driver is required to have a full current driving license issued in any State our Country.
- Is proof of I.D. required?
Yes we always require proof of I.D. any photo I.D. will do.
- What are the requirements to be a passenger?
You must be a minimum of 45 Inches tall to be a passenger. All minors must be accompanied by a qualifying adult.
- How long does the experience last ?
The whole experience takes around 1 hour to complete. The specially designed buggy trail is 2 miles long and your experience allows you to drive 5 times around the trail a total of 10 miles.
- I have used a Buggy before, why do I need to undertake the safety briefing?
For safety, security and insurance purposes all visitors to Revolution Off Road must complete the safety course.
- Can I bring my own Dune Buggy on the property?
We do not allow outside vehicles on to our property as it is not covered by our liability insurance
- What should I wear?
We strongly recommend closed toe shoes for driving and you should be prepared to get dirty maybe very dirty. You should dress for the current weather conditions. Shorts are perfectly acceptable.
- Can I take a passenger with me if so how many people can ride along with me?
You may take one passenger with you around the trail. There is an additional charge for passengers.
- How fast can I drive the trail?
You can drive the machine as fast as you wish however, safety is our number one concern and if you are driving in an unsafe manner, our guides will stop your drive, and your ride is over, there are no refunds in these instances.
- Do you have a water splash?
We do not have any lying water HOWEVER when it has been raining there are plenty of deep puddles to drive through.
- Do you run in all weathers?
We are not able to run in heavy rain or thunderstorms of course we will offer "rain checks" if the need arises for us to postpone for weather reasons.
- Can we switch drivers during the ride?
Yes if you wish to share the drive of 5 laps you may do so but only at the start/stop signs.
- Can I bring my own safety helmet?
Yes you can bring your own helmet as long as it has a current DOTE approved safety sign on it. You may also bring your own goggles.
- What if I don't want to wear a safety helmet?
All riders and drivers are required to wear safety equipment.
- Can I see your terms and conditions before I arrive?
Yes, you may our terms are available upon request at any time from our office
- What are your opening hours?
We open daily to service our reservations as required. However, as a general rule, we open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm daily.
