4 x 4 - Hummers®
Hummers® were originally built by AM General Corporation, formerly the military and government vehicle division of American Motors the M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Hum-Vee). In 1995 AM General began selling a civilian version of the M998 brand name "Hummer"®.
General sold the brand name to General Motors but continued to manufacture the vehicles. GM is responsible for the marketing and distribution of all Hummers® produced by AM General. In the following years, GM introduced two homegrown models, the H2 and H3 and as they say at General Motors it’s "Like nothing else". Revolution will be using the incredible H2 machine with a Vortec™ 6000 V8 engine producing 325hp @5200rpm and 365 lb of torque@4000rpm.
This 8600 lb gentle giant has 4-Wheel disc brakes, 4-wheel 4channel ABS duel callipers, fitted with dynamic rear proportioning, what does this mean? Well with the unique design of the "Hummer"® it can scale a 60° slope and traverse a 40° side slope and if that's not enough you can go up a 16° vertical wall or through an impressive 20° ford. The H2 has an approach angle of 40.8° and a departure angle of 25.8° allowing the H2 to pass through the deepest ditches and traverse large mounds without suffering front or rear damage.
